I often ask other chatters how they chose their nicks. I have gotten a variety of responses, some of them quite interesting. Some common themes include...
1. "It is my real name."
2. "I always liked the name."
3. "Sounds cool."
4. "I got it from _______"(name of book or movie).
For me personally, "Jadok" was a way of being truthful in who I am as it is derived from my real first, middle and last names, yet it also "sounds" kinda cool. I have used many other nicks to try them out, but this is the one that really stuck.
