Hellooo i am Anika Madleen, tho everbody knows me by the nick nikka Smile
I am 20 years old, was born and still live in Germany. Yet i will move to Scotland in January after i hopefully will have passed my practical exams to be a registered Medical Assistant.

My friends call me .. well nuts and crazy, but i think they actually mean i am friendly, polite and a very good and fair person!!!!

My very first passion in life is to be there for someone in need. I like to make and feel people respected and accepted and to do even just a bit to make them smile. Because we need to give, ..to get. Me, my boss and colleagues work together with patients of all ages. The main focus is on Palliative medicine and Psychotherapy, which means to stay at the patients side untill they pass away because of sickness such as cancer and to make them feel as much painless as possible untill his / her day has arrived. Therefor we have hospices buildings where they can stay. One for adults, one for children.
With the years i have learned how hard this job is, even though it is always the patients that come to me and tell me to stay strong and believe in life.

So.. as you may have noticed i sometimes end up in typing too much but i as well love to write, not only in chat but stories, poems, etc.

My second and last passion in life is music and dancing. I am a professional dancer for about 15 years, learn and teach in latin american  and standard dancing, Hip Hop, and Fitness Dancing such as Zumba.

Short history about myself:
Unfortunately I had to  live by my own since I am 18. I broke up school, lost all my friends, serperated from my family, ended up in sickness.
Fair enough.
Now this is two years ago and i feel like becoming the person who this world wanted me to be. Because after we fall we always can grab the chance to stand up again. I am lucky, i had someone reaching his hand for me helping to lift me up again.
After two years i am on my way to become a person i want to be and love. After two years of sickness i am finally starting to recover.
Thank you!

And why do i say all this. Because I know most people have bad episodes of unlimitted darkness in life that starts a war inside your body and brain. And the most easy thing to fight it is,.. to light up something.

If you have made it to read untill here, I want to thank you for have spent your time on me Tongue

Greetings to Chris, Constantine, clv, bob and tenchi, my dear Ophelper colleagues i enjoy my icq work with!

Anika

  Adolf Hitler and the U.S.
Posted by: CantStop - 08-10-2013, 03:59 AM - Forum: Debates - Replies (7)

If I remember correctly Adolf stated once that "no one questions the victor."
I agree with this because the people that founded the current government of the United States did so by genocide, slavery, treason, and deception. But not much of the public sees this because they see what we produce currently.

I believe if Hitler had won in his quest for global domination, the public would have a completely different view of him.

What are your thoughts on the statement of "no one questions the victor", or even the saying "The victors write the history books"?

Please no hateful comments.

Physics and the illusion of free-thought

#1

If all matter works off action and reaction, stated by Sir Newton;
Would not our brainwaves (the thing that creates our consciousness and perception of reality), be working off the same concept being that Everything is matter?
that being said; if such is working off action and reaction then there is no ability to choose, your actions and thoughts are predetermined in a complex way we have yet to understand in-depth.

What are your thoughts on this?

#2
If I remember correctly the philosopher Nietzsche stated once that life is a reoccurrence, I think we can add to that statement by theorizing that because the matter of our brain creates our consciousness that if that same matter was reconstructed in a similar way, we would then regain consciousness and life.
all the works of man, will be forgotten. thus making the act of creating, pointless in itself other than to entertain ourselves.
Nietzsche said life is meaningless, but do it anyways.
Also, if life is to cycle throughout the endless chasm of time; Are we doomed to be forced to live forever? because would not the period of death possess no consciousness or memory or perception of time, thus making it unable to grasp the "rest" we seek at the end of life.

What are your thoughts on this as well?

Setting Up SSL in mIRC [Windows Tutorial]
Posted by: tHeBrAiNLiGhT - 30-08-2013, 10:50 PM - Forum: Services and IRCd Help - Replies (2)

Hey there, I'm now going to show you how to generate your own ssl certificate, and use it in your client.

1. Install the OpenSSL Pack (This is REQUIRED in order to WORK)Sad32bit): http://goo.gl/xXre3v  (64Bit): http://goo.gl/a5CCtN
2. Download Microsoft C++ 2008 Redistributable Package: http://goo.gl/BM76JM
3. Please note that you should select "The Windows system directory" when it asks you where to copy the dll files to, or it may not work.

4

 • Go to Start -> run and type in CMD. This will bring up a prompt.
 • Type in cd C:\OpenSSL\bin and hit enter.  //NOTE: If the folder OpenSSL does not exist, check for OpenSSL-Win32 OR OpenSSL-Win64 (Depending on your setting/ what version you've installed), and just rename it to OpenSSL //

 • Type OpenSSL and hit enter.
 • You should now see a prompt that looks like OpenSSL>
 • Type in req -nodes -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout yournick.key -x509 -days 365  -out yournick.cer and hit enter.
(By the way: You may change the validaty duration of the certificated by increasing the number after "-days" or changing the parameter after rsa: , I tried it with 4096, it has worked., (The ClientCertificateFingerprint you will get, may be used in an o:line, or other things) If you don not know how to do this, just let it how it is now ^^
You will be asked some questions:

NOTE: After you have answered the questions:
 • Hit Ctrl+C to exit out of the OpenSSL program.
 • Type type yournick.cer yournick.key > yournick.pem and hit enter.

Please try answering all questions, the information needn't to true, but will be displayed on /sslinfo YourNick
Please copy the 3 certs you made in the mIRC folder: Should be: C:\\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\mIRC\
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO COPY: libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll in this folder mentioned above!

So and now the mIRC settings:

Select yournick.pem in the mIRC -> File ->Select Server -> Options -> SSL asthe Private Key File, the same (yournick.pem) in Certificate Chain File. Leave the trusted authorities empty.

Please use ONLY the port 6697 for SSL, by /server irc.icq.com:+6697 OR /server -e irc.icq.com:6697

if everything will work you will see this notice:

And /sslinfo YourNick will display your sslinformation, NOTE: you should allow untrusted/invalid sslconnections in order to work with icqnet.

Thanks for reading.

Please comment, or add something i maybe forgot, or complain if something isnt working.

FluX

PS: If you need help, or something isnt working, or a link is "dead" - just comment or pm me ^^

Translator any language for Mirc Script
Posted by: IrCQ-Net - 24-08-2013, 03:58 PM - Forum: mIRC - Replies (4)

After loading, just right click the channel window and select autotrans - autotrans setup.

Echo will echo back to the channel the text originated.
.Msg will message the channel. (for bot use)
.Notice will notice the client the script is loaded to.

If you have any problems with missing characters in your translations, please review your utf8 settings before posting your problem.

Under mIRC Options - Irc - Messages. It should look like this.

If you right click the channel on the treebar and click font, the utf8 should say display and encode. It is necessary to check this for each channel you are using the translator in.

**Update**
Added:
 • Exclusions Manager & Exclusion System
 • A \\L2 Translation trigger for responding
 • A Right click Hotlink for responding using the reverse of [L1]-[L2]
The Exclusion Manager
[Image: vi2ngj.jpg]
It's a simple dialog so you can add WORDS(not phrases) to be somewhat excluded from translation.
The words are not excluded from translation, but they are excluded from the algorithm that is used to determine if a translation will be returned or not.
To add WORDS, right click the channel and select Exclusions Manager from the menu.
I'll add a Trigger system to this later.

The \\L2 Trigger
This is very simple to use, just type \\L2 where L2 is the language code for the language you want your text translated into. Your text will be translated to the window you are typing into.
Example: \\fr some words to translate here.
**Note** This is not a bot trigger. This is a On input routine and must be typed from the
client with the script loaded.

The Hotlink
This works Right clicking on this part > [L1]-[L2] <<-- of a language translation.
You will be prompted to decide.
And then prompted for some text.
**Note** Your text will be translated to the reverse of what you clicked.
clicking [de]-[en] , will translate your text from english to german.
**Also** This script must be loaded in the client that you are typing in for this to work.

Thank You
Amr Hassan
